That Karmann Ghia deserves a turbo porsche motor, and no other modifications.

New tires, and just get it running in the meantime.

I never see old panel vans on the road. That last picture (early 50s Chevrolet?) is cool and unusual. Not to be confused with cruel and unusual, which describes curbing the wheels on your slammed busted-nose Karmann Ghia. The many Defenders would doubtless concur.

Yep, Chevy. I think it said ‘ 56 on the other side.
I’ve always cons idered the Defe nder 9 0 to be more desirable but these two 110s in white have given me thought.

I like the smol pickup because it is smol. I think the Hilux is the one people obsess over the most.

Any idea why they would cut a hole in front of the rear wheel on the Ghia? It makes sense if you’re going to run exhaust there, but it doesn’t make sense for a rear-engine car.

I thought the same thing and it took the longest time for it click . I think they’re on all Ghias. Is it for securing the car during transport from the factory?

I went on a trip through google image land and couldn’t find another ghia with the same holes.
